Series #81 - Run 6 - 15 April 2015 - Run No. 486

GENERAL BUSINESS
Congratulations to Robert NORMAN of ABS Moving Averages, who became just the 5th runner to join the 400 run club, and also to Rod PHILLIPS of Reserve Bank Magic Milers who became the 18th runner to complete 350 runs.

The presentation for series 81 will be held in the Domain on Wednesday 29th April at 12:30 pm.Team Captains with trophies from last series should arrange handing back of the trophies for engraving and presentation to the series 81 winners.

SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
Although conditions were quite warm the shorter course saw 14 teams breaking the 100 point mark.They were led by ANZ Invincibles and Sydney Tax Pack with 143, followed by Reserve Bank Magic Milers and Telstra Tornados on 141.Reserve Bank Magic Milers have won the overall competition by a comfortable margin of 145 points.The total points scored in run 6 was 3,516.

VERSATILE FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS KNOCKOUT TROPHY
Reserve Bank Magic Milers and Telstra Tornados met in the knockout final and, as noted above, both scored 141 points, meaning that the final is a draw and the trophy shared.ASX All Ordinaries won the 3rd place play-off (for the second series in a row), beating Allianz Experience 133-99.

FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
In a nail-biting finish to the season, Legal Eagles pulled out all the stops to share top score of 11 with Reserve Bank Magic Milers
, and won the title by a single point.

THE MAT GARROD MEMORIAL TEAM REPRESENTATION TROPHY
The best turnout in run 6 was 13 runners, achieved by five teams including the top two.BT Dominators have won the overall competition with 81 runs from a possible 90.The total turnout was 427 counting runners, 329 males and 98 females.

GARRY GOULD MEMORIAL TROPHY
The Garry Gould Memorial Trophy for the top point scorer in series 81 was won by Wayne PIELAK of BT Warriors with 137 points.

RON COOMBS MEMORIAL TROPHY
The Ron Coombs Memorial Trophy for the top point scorer of the opposite sex to the winner of the Garry Gould Memorial Trophy was won by Melinda HADLEY of CGU Champions, who scored 129 points.

CC AMATIL MOST IMPROVED TEAM
This competition ranks each teamís improvement in three areas over the last two series - point score, team representation and fast runs. As this is an encouragement award for teams who would not otherwise figure in the prize-giving, teams who win one of the other competitions are excluded from winning it.

The Most Improved Team Trophy for series 81 was won by Apra Running Regulators, who beat ANZ Invincibles by a single point.
