GENERAL BUSINESS
Congratulations to John BACKHOUSE of Veterans Affairs, who became the
15th member of the 300 run club in run 3.
SYDNEY CORPORATE CUP POINTSCORE TROPHY
At last, some pleasant conditions for running, and the pointscore
reflected this, with the score almost equalling the total
from the first two runs of the series. 12 teams reached
100 points, with Reserve Bank Midday Milers top-scoring
on 169 points. They consequently extended their lead at
the top of the overall competition. The total pointscore
in run 3 was 3,107.

VERSATILE FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS KNOCKOUT TROPHY
All third round matches were decided fairly convincingly,
with Energy Australia’s 71-55 win over ABS Moving Averages
the only relatively close result. QBE Risky Runners, having
progressed to round 3 with just 26 points, scored a good
win in their three way contest with MYOB Stings and Powerade
Panthers, winning 108-44-77.
FASTEST TEAM COMPETITION
The one horse race continues, with Legal Eagles notching
up another 10 fast runs to move to 27 in total. Telstra
Tornados and Westpac Harriers remain tied for 2nd on 12,
having both scored 4 in run 3.
In the fastest male division, Andrew LEE of Veterans Affairs
was fastest with 20.35 while, in the women, Emma THOMPSON
of State Treasury was almost two minutes clear of the field
with 23.55, equalling her PB. There were 57 fast runners
in run 3, 46 males (13%) and 11 females (13%).

THE MAT GARROD MEMORIAL TEAM REPRESENTATION TROPHY
Reserve Bank Midday Milers and Energy Australia had all 15
runners out in run 3, while another six teams had 14. CFS
Cruisers retain the narrowest of leads overall in the representation
competition with 43, followed by Legal Eagles and Reserve
Bank Midday Milers on 42. The total turnout was 438 counting
runners, 356 males and 82 females.
